Luke is looking to project his images on to pyramids still. But this time the pyramids will protrude from walls rather than floors. The original pyramid which is made of MDF is whacked out heavy and will be difficult to take overseas. The idea is to source locally made thick plastic sheets that we can cut to size and literally stick on to walls. Less buggering around with the complex calibration process from 4 meters above the stage!
I'm looking at expanding my performance equipment. I have asked Tim Lovell of Lovell Music Lab to make me a fixed band EQ or sorts that can be controlled via 3 voltage sensors. The idea is that these sensors will be embedded in a large sheet of glass standing upright between the audience and the performer. The proximity of a body part to the sensors will control a number of parameters in the filter unit. Namely 'Q', resonance and cutoff. Perhaps a switch to shift between HP, LP and BP.
